The first quarter of 2025 promises exciting new launches across segments. Here are the most anticipated cars.
1. Maruti Suzuki Fronx Turbo - January 2025
Expected Price: Rs 9-12 lakh. The popular Fronx gets a more powerful 1.0L turbo petrol engine producing 100 PS. Features upgraded with 9-inch touchscreen, 360-degree camera, and ventilated seats. Will compete with Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue.
2. Mahindra XUV 3XO - February 2025
Expected Price: Rs 8-14 lakh. Facelift of popular XUV300 with new name and features. Gets Level 2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control. Three engine options including new 1.2L turbo petrol. Major competitor to Venue, Sonet, and Nexon.
3. Hyundai Creta EV - March 2025
Expected Price: Rs 18-22 lakh. Hyundai entry into mid-size electric SUV segment. Expected range of 450+ km, fast charging support, and all Creta features. Will compete with upcoming Maruti eVX and MG ZS EV.
4. Tata Harrier Facelift - February 2025
Expected Price: Rs 15-26 lakh. Updated styling, new interior design, improved features including Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, ventilated front and rear seats. Same 170 PS diesel engine with better refinement.
5. Kia Carens Facelift - March 2025
Expected Price: Rs 11-20 lakh. Mid-life update with refreshed styling, updated features, and new color options. Continues with existing 1.5L petrol, diesel, and turbo petrol engines. ADAS expected in top variants.
6. Maruti Suzuki Swift Hybrid - January 2025
Expected Price: Rs 7.5-10 lakh. New strong hybrid version of Swift promising fuel efficiency of 35+ km/l. More powerful electric motor than current mild hybrid. Could revolutionize hatchback segment.
